A possible culprit is a mercury-based preservative called thimerosal, which was approximately 49% mercury by weight.
It was used as a preservative in vaccines until roughly the turn of the twenty-first century.

I know from personal experience that thimerosal can be problematic. When I began wearing contacts in 1987, there were two versions of Opti-Free cleaner–one with thimerosal and another without. After two days of agony and seeping eyes, I used only the latter.
Long story, short; we should have learned from decades of vaccine problems, but it seems possible that the vaccine was released to market too soon.
I believe further testing is called for, and possible FDA “black-box” labelling may be necessary.

I will make more of an effort to post complete urls. As for the responses…yeah, some are from foreign countries and others are quite possibly spam.
However, if a comment looks even remotely legitimate, I approve it. I would rather get ‘rooked’ a few times, than to send the message that someone’s comment is irrelevant.
